At the end of the last school year we held a competition, asking the children to design a logo for our school website that celebrates our diverse school community. We had so many wonderful entries, with the children going above and beyond. It was a tough choice, but the EARA group voted and the winning logo was created by Eva, 6L.

Yami made her own PowerPoint to help us understand more about diversity. Take a look at it, linked down below!
On Wednesday 4th March, some of our EARA members attended the Hampshire EARA Network cluster meeting at Church Crookham Junior School. They met with EARA groups from other local schools and took part in activities that focused on recognising everyone as individuals and thinking about how our school ensures that all of our school community have their individual needs met. They particularly enjoyed thinking about what makes our school so special and all the of the different ways that each of us is unique. They finished by making our 'school salad' which included all of the 'ingredients' that make up our school community and were brought together by our 'salad dressing' of shared values and respect.
