JRSO

Hello from Manor Junior School's Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs!) Our names are Elizabeth, Owen, Zohan and Alynda and we are all in Year 5. Our job is to help the children in school understand how to be safe by the road. We are there to give advice and help on cycling, scooting, walking or even travelling to school by car. We are available at break times and we will be running different events through the year to raise awareness of safety by the road.
Have a look at the following quiz to test your road safety knowledge, here!
Spring 2026 Competition:
Can you create a brilliant road safety rap or poem telling people why they should be safe when crossing the road?

Here are some more examples:
“Watch for the car! Make sure it’s far!”
“Less flossing, more road safety crossing!”
You could decorate your rap too!
Winners will receive prizes!
Any entries to be submitted to Mr Polley. The JRSOs will judge them over the coming weeks.
Results of our Autumn 2024 Competition:
Well done to everyone for submitting entries for the 'Be Bright' t-shirt competition. It was very challenging to choose who our three winners would be from such great entries but the JRSO and Mr Polley have made a decision.
