How To Wash a Woolly Mammoth

Introduction Sentence:

With this guide washing your mammoth should be simple.

Equipment Needed:

Water, hose pipe, shampoo, sponge, broom, towel, hair dryer and a brush.

STEP ONE

Firstly you must try and get it in the bath using some juicy red grapes. If your mammoth doesn't like grapes, use sweet apples. Then squeeze! it in!

STEP TWO

Secondly, wet your dirty woolly mammoth with a hose pipe and get every hair.

STEP THREE

Thirdly you must put the shampoo on and scrub the mammoth in zigzags. Make sure there’s not too much water overflowing.

STEP FOUR

But be careful not to GET SOAP IN ITS EYES or your mammoth will hide!

STEP FIVE

Then you carefully rinse the soap off.

STEP SIX

Dry the mammoth with a hair dryer and slowly brush the mammoth. Your mammoth might be scared of the dryer, so you may need to calm the mammoth with a cuddle or sing it lullabies.

STEP SEVEN

Finally, put your mammoth in a cosy bed. After they’ve brushed their teeth (but that's a whole new set of instructions).

My wooly mammoth needs a wash

Introduction Sentence:

My wooly mammoth needs a wash today but he doesn’t like water.

Equipment Needed: Loofah, hose pipe, a bottle of green shampoo.

STEP ONE

Turn the hose on, make sure to hold on tight so it doesn’t squirt you. Wet the wooly mammoth and once he is completely wet turn the hose off.

STEP TWO

Pour the bottle of green shampoo on the wooly mammoths head and mix with the water to make the wooly mammoth soapy. Make sure it doesn’t go in the wooly mammoths eyes.

STEP THREE

At first scrub underneath the wooly mammoth carefully, because his tummy is very ticklish. If you make him laugh you will bounce up and down. Then scrub everywhere else, don’t forget behind his ears.

STEP FOUR

Shower the wooly mammoth with the hose. But don’t go near his trunk cause he may squirt you with water.

STEP FIVE

If there’s still some dirt on the wooly mammoth, hose him down entirely until he is clean.

STEP SIX

Roll up the hose, turn off the tap and wrap a warm cosy towel around the wooly mammoth, eventually he will be completely dry.

How to wash a stinky woolly mammoth

I have a woolly mammoth called chocolate and he lives in my garden. He likes to get dirty and this means I have to wash him, which is not an easy task.

To wash Chocolate I will need a paddling pool in the garden, soap, shampoo, bubble bath, water and his favourite treat of cake.

Step 1: First we need to put water and bubble bath in the paddling pool

Step 2: Find Chocolate, he likes to hide.

Step 3: Encourage Chocolate into the paddling pool with Cake.

Step 4: Quickly get him wet and then scrub him with soap to get him clean.

Step 5: Rinse him and then shampoo his head.

Step 6: Rinse again and be careful not to get it in his eyes

Finally empty the paddling pool and dry Chocolate with a towel softly so as not to pull his hair
