Egyptian Day

Year 3 had a fantastic Egyptian Day, bringing our history learning to life in an exciting and memorable way. Many of the children fully embraced the occasion by dressing up as Egyptian gods and goddesses, pharaohs and archaeologists, helping to create a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. The children took part in a fabulous drama workshop led by Theatre Exchange, where they stepped back in time to explore the sights, sounds and stories of Ancient Egypt through interactive role-play and performance. The workshop helped deepen their understanding of this fascinating ancient civilisation while developing their confidence and creativity. The children also produced some stunning Egyptian portraits using pastels, carefully applying their artistic skills to create vibrant and expressive artwork inspired by ancient Egyptian culture. We were incredibly proud of their enthusiasm, imagination and the high quality of their work throughout the day.
