Winchester Science Museum
Our trip to Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium aimed to give the children an opportunity to embed previous science learning and to carry out experiments.
‘Have you heard all about the James Webb Telescope? In 'Destination Space', the children got an introduction to an amazing piece of space technology. They also explored the properties of light, starting with the visible spectrum before moving to infrared and heat exchange.
Before the trip, the children had already undertaken their science objectives about space, which the Science Museum also supports.
