Communication Support Assistant

Required for September 2025

6.25 hours per day (8.30 am to 3.30 pm term time only) – 3 days in the first instance. Days/hours could be negotiated for the right candidate!

(Pay Scale C1)

to work with deaf children across the Infant and Junior age ranges.

We are looking for a candidate that:

  • Is able to develop good relationships with all pupils
  • Has good signing skills or a willingness to train (BSL level 1 or above is desirable. If the qualification is not held, a willingness to train is essential)
  • Is flexible and can support deaf pupils in the mainstream classes, small groups and in the Resourced Provision
  • Is able to use their initiative, work as part of a strong and committed team as well as supporting teaching staff across the Infant and Junior age range
  • Can effectively support pupils to access the curriculum.

Class Teacher
Required for September 2025

(The position is a fixed term contract for one year in the first instance. ECTs are welcome to apply and if successful we may be able to offer the two-year induction period for the right candidate).

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our dedicated team from 1st September 2025.  We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for pupils and an ability to deliver lessons that are inclusive for all.
