Hawks Win Inter-House Football

Friday 24th October

The Hawks were winners of the first school inter-house event of the year, inter-house football, with a commanding points total of 23. Harriers were second, Falcons third and Eagles fourth. It was a hard task for our House Captains as it was their first ever experience of leading the teams, and the event was pretty much organised by them and the Junior Leaders. Harriers were worthy winners of the Values Trophy and we had quite a few children involved!

A delighted Alfie (Hawks House Captain) proclaimed ‘it was fun to lead and all children should give it a go (in the future) as they might surprise themselves and enjoy it.’ Sophie (Harriers House Captain) added that she hoped ‘more children would get involved to make the teams bigger and stronger’. The next activity is Cross Country later on this term.
